Investigating Artificial Intelligence in Sport

Every day seems to bring news of new applications for Artificial Intelligence (AI). In the past couple of days alone, reports have discussed AI in relation to innovation and patent law, gaming, sustainability, real estate, and even cartoon creation, to name only a few. With the evolving use of AI across society, it is no surprise to see it spread into the sports world too. There have been recent discussions in the sporting media, academia, and social media.

So, I want to canvas industry opinion on artificial intelligence/machine learning in high performance sport. What thoughts, questions, or concerns do you have? I am engaging with Zone7 to challenge them on these issues.
